Great machine, BUT.........when you spend this much money for a great pressure washer, it is very disappointing that the quick disconnect for the water hose is plastic, leaks and keeps popping loose! very cheap.

To top it off, there was no Operating Manual in the box.

Other folks have solved the plastic connector problem by installing a brass quick connector between the garden hose and the pressure washer. You will just need to be careful not to knock the unit over onto the connector.

But...
The assembly instructions could have been a bit more complete and the manual should have informed the purchaser to expect an air bubble in the pressure gauge AR has told me, as a result of two phone calls that an air bubble is normal.

And speaking of two phone calls...one of the primary reasons I chose AR was that other reviewers praised their customer service. My first phone call resulted in an unanswered voice message I left but a couple of days later when I called back a customer service rep made certain that I immediately got a human. Therefore, I conclude that ARs customer service is very good.

The plastic quick disconnect is flimsy in that it is difficult to get it screwed on- access is tight and it leaked until I put a new washer on this new part. In the end I bought a brass quick disconnect and the problem is solved.

One other thing...with an internal chemical detergent tank, I still have not figured out how to drain and clean that part of the system for winterization or prolonged storage. On my old machine I could just empty the external tank and run some fresh water through it. Guess I'll have to make another call to AR to ask a question that could/should have been answered in the instruction owners manual.

My only reasons for not giving the AR767 a perfect rating are those I have stated and that isn't bad. The machine works great and customer service is quick and nice to deal with.
