Q: Hi Bill, I'm in the market for a pressure washer, just buily a home that is elevated along the coast. I am looking at this 20275 model but am worried that my son will wash the vinly siding off with too much pressure and on the other hand I don't want to buy somesomething that will not do the job. A: For your application, 3400 psi is NOT too much pressure. Yes you can damage surfaces if you get too close but as long as you stay 6-10 inches away from any surface you will not cause any damage.
With this machine, you cannot adjust the pressure any lower through the pump. The only way to lower the pressure on this machine is to change out the spray tip to a wider fan spray pattern. You can typically lower the pressure by about 500 psi by using the widest spray tip. by Bill, Product Expert
