Q: What will happen to a "cold water" pressure washer if you run hot water through it?

A: If you use water warmer than 104 F degrees in a cold water pressure washer, you will drastically reduce the lifespan of that pump and will cause the seals/o-rings to melt away. This is the fastest way to ruin a pump's seals and o-rings throughout. Any temperature up to 104 F degrees is ok for all cold water machines.
