Q: I have an exterior outlet which matches that which is illustrated as required for this unit (5-20P I guess). Can I then safely assume it is a 20A. Otherwise stated, would there be any reason for the electrician to have installed such an outlet if it were not 20A. Also, I think it shares a circuit with other interior 'misc' outlets which are 15A, does this create additional issues / questions. by Brad Mazerolle from Arizona on October 16, 2011
A: If this outlet that you are referring to is an outdoor outlet, it should be ran on a 20 amp circuit breaker. If this outlet has the same plug configuration (5-20R) (P is for plug, R for receptacle), then yes it should be on a 20 amp circuit. You can easily verify this at your circuit breaker panel. If this is the case then yes you would have the correct electrical requirement needed for this model pressure washer.
As far as other indoor outlets being connected to the same circuit breaker, as long as you are not running other items off those outlets at the same time as this pressure washer is being operated then it will not cause any problem. You just have to keep in mind the requirement of the pressure washer motor. by Bill, Product Expert
Q: does this unit have a pressure switch for on off at the trigger. full stop with wand trigger off. by Matt Stegall from Illinois on September 24, 2011
A: No, this machine does NOT have a total stop feature. When you release the trigger, the machine will stay on. You cannot leave this machine running without spraying water for longer than 5 minutes or you will definitely damage the pump. by Bill, Product Expert

Bill's Recommendation
While this unit may look unusual, it actually provides lots of cleaning power in a small package.
The main benefit of the CP5211 is it can be used outdoors for regular pressure washing tasks, as well as indoors; the electric motor doesn't give off nasty fumes or make a lot of noise.
This unit will need to be plugged into a 20-amp circuit because it's running a 2-HP electric motor. It's ideal for kitchens, stables, screen printers, and places gas engines would not be welcome.
