Q: How much psi do you recommend to power wash a wooden deck that is 25 years old and needs refinishing? Thank you

A: The minimum psi I would recommend is 2600 psi. If you are trying to remove old paint or stain, I would recommend that you go with at least 3000 psi. A 4000 psi machine would be too much pressure for a wooden deck. However, you could purchase a 4000 psi machine with an adjustable pressure feature to where you could lower the pressure accordingly to the project. This Campbell Hausfeld machine does NOT have an adjustable pressure regulator on it though.

 Best Pressure Washer!!!!

I have purchased other pressure washers in the past and was a little hesitant spending a big chunk of $$$ not knowing the performance.

Once I used this unit last weekend, I was absolutely impressed. The Honda engine purrs like a cat. The unit produced more than enough power to clean heavily stained sidewalk.

The unit is built extremely well and I was nothing short of impressed. I have noticed that Campbell has been manufacturing some pretty darn heavy duty pressure washers these days.

And I have to say I am glad to see a USA company really puttin... more
