| Disappointed Coleman owner |
| By Larry Smith (Kings Mountain, NC) |
I bought mine at a Big Box store and have had it for maybe 3 years; it has less than 15 hours on it and the thing is shot. I cannot find anyone around here that works on them.
The unit looks brand new just will not spray. I even went out and bought a new spray nozzle which is what Coleman recommended when I called them.
Coleman also told me that the unit I bought was a discontinued model from the Big Box store. In other words, what you buy in the store now is discontinued and you can't get parts for it.
I will not buy another one.. Looks like Coleman would at least stand behind their products; I'm a very disappointed owner. |

| Don't leave the unit running when you walk away! |
| By JOHN DOWNEY (Athens, TX) |
If you leave your pressure washer for more than 2 minutes, be sure to turn it off. Otherwise the pump will burn up if it doesn't have water running through it.
Also- pull the trigger on the wand to release pressure; it will start easier.
These tips go for any pressure washer. |

| Great Machine! |
| By David Holt (Sotogrande, TX) |
I have had mine for a few years and remodeled two homes. I've put hundreds of hours on this machine washing driveways, sidewalks, pool patios, fences, post hurricane cleanup, etc.
I have never replaced anything but a hose, and this thing starts on the first or second pull every time.
I moved to Spain 6 months ago and took this unit- it has been a lifesaver with the house here. I chose to take this as it is so dependable.
If anything broke I would have a hard time getting parts in Spain but I am confident that will not be needed. I brought a spare hose and that should do it for a while.
The pressure is great also, unless you want to remove the paint from your car this unit will tackle any job you throw at it for hours on end of running time. |

| Time for a good review |
| By Hamish Munro (Spanish Fort, AL) |
I bought this about a year and a half ago and can happily say I have never had any issues with it.
In fact, in comparison to my old electric Karcher washer it is truly amazing!
Yes, I'm sure there are bound to be the few that don't get past the first few hours of operation, but you get that with any product.
I am sticking with what I bought and think at times it is nice to hear a good review rather than the negatives. |

| It's A Lemon, Do Not Buy!!!!! |
| By Billy Phillips (Irving, TX) |
Looks like the same problem everyone else is having! I should have done my home work before purchasing.
After about four hours of use the pump motor locked up and sprayed oil out between the pump housing and motor. |

| Stay Away From ColemanLowes |
| By Robert Wright (David City, NE) |
My childred purchased this same unit for me for Father's Day. After approximately 12 hours of use, the cast manifold split on the pump. As it was under warranty, I took the unit to an authorized repair center. They told me that Coleman is in bankruptcy and that they cannot get replacement parts.
I called Coleman and they told me to take it back to where it was purchased (Lowes) and that the retailer would replace it with a 'like-kind'. I took the unit to Lowes and not only did they not replace it, they told me that Lowes never carried this unit...
So the bottom line is do not buy a Coleman pressure washer as the pump is junk, and do not buy from Lowes as they do not stand behind what they sell... I'm S-O-O-L.

| Coleman Powermate 2750 PSI Pressure Washer w/ Honda Engine Review |
| By Stan Braisted (Achilles, VA) |
I have dozens of hours on mine - the pump is fine, and it handles continuous operation until refueling is needed. You need to be careful to keep pressure-fed water to it since it can outrun supply, which could cause damage to the pump.
The Honda motor starts easily after months of non-use. I have used it to clean brickwork, siding, lawn furniture; even strip paint from porch ceilings. If you use the correct nozzle and distance and angle, it can handle a variety of tasks.
The only fly in the ointment was that, after winter storage, almost all the hose and wand o-rings had broken. They are available from hardware stores, but C'mon, Guys - make the 2-cent parts good, too!
PWD RESPONDS: Using a Pump Guard product over the Winter will keep seals and o-rings lubricated and fresh come Spring. We carry versions by Karcher and AR; they are easy to use and cost less than a new set of seals and o-rings. |

| Would stay away from this product, from coleman for that matter. After taking the first two back the same day I bought them I had the hose blow out on the third one the second time I used it. COLEMAN WOULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT! I replaced the hose and now had the pump go out on me. expensive to fix and once again NO HELP FROM COLEMAN! |

| By john clark |
Second time operating washer the pump froze up. No oil. Company stated oil was filled before in pump. Not happy paid $500.00.
PWD REPLY: This item is currently sold at a big box retailer. They pride themselves on low prices, but quality is often sacrificed. Not the first time that we've heard complaints on this model. |

Wife bought me this unit for Christmas. Put oil in. It ran for about 30 minutes until the pump froze up, and it would not restart. Take it back to Costco this weekend. Very disappointed!
PWD RESPONSE: You can buy cheaper pressure washers at the big retailers, but quality is usually sacraficed. |

| We washed one house with ours (about 6 hours of use) and our pump bearings came apart damaging the pump. We are looking for pump rebuild kits since this seems like a common problem with these. |

| Just purchase this from Costco and used it for about half hour. Engine stopped and would not start again. Purchased it because of the Coleman name and I will return it to Costco tomorrow. |

| Coleman Powermate 2750 PSI Pressure Washer w/ Honda Engine Review |
| By Dan Vandehey |
| I have to echo the other review I saw on this page reporting pump failure. I also bought my washer from Lowe's. I followed all the directions regarding oiling the pump, and was careful to run all the air out of the water line through the pump before firing up the motor. I've operated pressure washers for twenty five years without ever burning up a pump until I bought this machine. There is no level of care you can take as an owner to prolong the life of this useless pump. I've owned this unit for just over a year, and as I washed my house this last weekend the pump completely failed. This washer has less than 20 hours on it. I couldn't recommend this unit to anyone, no matter how light your usage may be. |
