| Pressure Washers Direct Recommendation |
| By Pressure Washers Direct |
Great opportunity to get a high-quality telescoping wand for cheap. General Pump is liquidating this 24' model to make room for a newer 24' version.
Here's the kicker. The newer version costs more and is actually inferior. This lightweight model is made with heavy-duty aluminum. In fact, it's touted as the "heaviest duty telescoping wand on the market."
In addition, it features a 3/8" double-braided hose that can withstand pressures up to 4000 PSI. The other version only has a 5/16" hose with pressure up to 3625.
As an added bonus, the heavy-duty version includes a telescoping belt too. A great deal. |

| How To Pick The Perfect Telescoping Wand |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
A telescoping wand can keep your feet flat on the ground and extend your reach 1, 2, or even 3 stories high.
The way a telescoping wand works is simple and effective. A high pressure hose is guided up the inside of the pole and connects at the tip.
This lets you set the length from fully retracted to fully extended, and anywhere in between.
It's not all pie in the sky, however. It takes a fair amount of pressure to push water up in the air, so these wands connect to larger pressure washers with 3/8" hoses.
Telescoping wands will flex when the pressure is turned on, and again when it's turned off, so you must be at least 10 feet away from power lines at all times.
The good news is that fiberglass telescoping wands are light weight and inexpensive. They are meant to be used with cold water.
Aluminum telescoping wands are heavier, but that makes them more durable for professional use. Professional-grade wands can even be used with commercial hot water pressure washers.
Holding a pole up in the air can be tiring. A telescoping wand belt will support some of the weight and add stability, letting you work longer and more effectively.
You can snap any quick connect nozzle onto the angled end. Check out the reviews for handy tips on individual projects like washing siding and gutter cleaning.
If you have to clean up high but would rather not use a telescoping wand, take a look at the new Ladder Saver nozzle in our Spray Tip section. |
