I recently purchased a Karcher Pressure Washer. I was disappointed that a surface film of mud would not come off when washing the car, even with the highest pressure.
So I ordered the Karcher Rotating Wash Brush. It made a difficult job much easier and removed the surface film with ease.
It seems to me that should not be an option, but a standard part of the original package. But in any case, I am now satisfied with complete system.

Another technique you might find helpful on stubborn grime is to rinse the car, apply pressure washer safe car wash detergent and let it sit for a few minutes (but don't let it dry on the car), then rinse.
The short waiting time lets the soap break the bond between the dirt and the paint, making it easier to wash away.
