| How To Pick A Replacement Pressure Washer Spray Gun |
| By Power Equipment Direct (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Even with the best intentions, stuff happens: the spray gun that went into the garage in one piece comes out broken.
If your spray gun is just worn out, we recommend getting one of our Spray Kits. The spray gun, hose, and lance all fit together perfectly and will wear evenly.
If you need just the gun, then it's all about the connectors. There are pictures of the connectors on each spray gun page.
Got a residential electric pressure washer? If it's a Karcher, check the Features page to make sure your model number is listed. Karcher has made many different spray guns over the years.
If it's another brand up to 2200 psi then the Campbell spray gun will probably fit.
Got a consumer-grade gas pressure washer with threaded, M22 fittings? The Briggs spray gun should do the trick.
A quick connect adaptor kit will let you use this spray gun with quick connect fittings.
Got a professional grade unit? Check for either threaded M22 or quick connect attachments.
Hot water pressure washers need a spray gun that specifically says it can be used with hot water- it has high temperature seals that won't melt. |

| Karcher Replacement Trigger Gun (Electric) Review |
| By Philip Gagnon |
| I have the same problem as Mary Lynne Faust. The inside plastic rod keeps splitting.I,too, keep the gun inside, but to no avail. They are just poorly designed and poorly made. Karcher must remedy this problem or take the gun off the market. |

| Karcher Replacement Trigger Gun (Electric) Review |
| By Mary Lynne Foust |
| I have the Karcher electric power washer, which I really love, except now I have to order my third trigger gun. It seems every year the seam on the plastic part inside splits and the gun is useless. Why is this. I completely empty the water from the unit and store it inside yet it still seems to crack at the seam. Is there a different model trigger I can use to replace this one? |

| Karcher trigger gun |
| By Gary Zimmaro (Cinnaminson, NJ) |
I also have the same problem- the first year was great.
The second year water was pouring from the trigger and no pressure. The Karcher on-line help was very slow to answer or offer much assistance.
I think after reading some of these reviews that Karcher has a faulty part in their trigger guns and should make good to their customers. I won't buy another Karcher product because of this.
PWD RESPONDS: Make sure the pressure washer isn't exposed to freezing temperatures over the winter- expanding water can damage seals and joints. Use of a pump guard product will help prevent damage and lubricate the seals. |

| Very upset; spilled water all over the place |
| By Kevin Jones (Hillsdale, MI) |
My power washer was great for the first year, but when I pulled it out of the basement this year water spilled all over the place.
I was looking forward to power spraying my camping equipment then this happend.
I wouldn't refer this to my worst enemy. If they (Karcher) don't fix this flaw from their QC dept then I say buy another brand.
PWD RESPONDS: The brand you selected for your review is Powerwasher- they are not made or serviced by Karcher. Please click on the "Customer Service" button at the bottom of our web site, then on "Service Centers" to select the correct brand and find the service center nearest you.
Pressure washer manuals recommend making sure the unit is completely drained before storage, and kept from freezing. Using a product such as Pump Saver will act as an antifreeze and lubricant to make sure your pressure washer is as good as new, come Spring. |

| Karcher Spray Gun Plastic Piece Splits |
| By B Bigford (Silver Spring, MD) |
I have the same problem as several other folks. This is the second year we've had the pressure washer and when we started it up this year, water poured from the handle.
We opened the handle and the cream colored plastic 'rod' that sits inside above the yellow trigger was split along the seam in several places. It seems like this is a design materials problem and Karcher ought to provide this piece free of charge.
I cannot find anywhere just to buy this piece, I have to spend half the cost of the pressure cleaner for an entire new gun, when all I need is the plastic rod part.
Has anyone had any luck speaking with anyone at Karcher? They seem to only do email and form emails at that.
PWD RESPONDS: Karcher has a nationwide service network to help you!
Just click on the Customer Service button at the bottom of our web site, then click on Service Centers and select "Find Local Service Center" in the Karcher box to find the service center nearest you. |

| TRIGGER GUN PART |
| By Bonnie Wenrick (Grantville, PA) |
I loved this model pressure washer last year; I emptied & cleaned it at season end.
This year it leaks & a plastic part on the seam is splitting. I have to buy the whole gun to replace it. By the other reviews I would say this is a problem that should be corrected.
PWD RESPONDS: Please be sure to either store your pressure washer away from freezing temperatures, or use a Pump Guard product over the winter to keep residual water in your unit from freezing and causing damage. |
