Q: Bill, I am now considering purchasing the Karcher G3200 XH Prosumer Gas pressure washer along with the Suction Hose with Filter to clean both our pond and our hot tub. A: Yes, this machine can definitely pull water from a standing source with the purchase of the Karcher suction hose. You will also need to purchase the adapter part # 9.154-013. As far as any repairs that might be needed under the warranty, yes you would take this machine to any authorized Karcher service center. Q: Bill,
I am looking for a prosumer washer but I am moving to France in the spring and I need to be able to get service on anything I purchase.
My question is......what models are European brands that I can expect that will be servicable in France?
I was looking at the new Karcher 3200 psi because I "think" Karcher is European????
Any suggestions of other models?

A: If you purchase a pressure washer in the U.S. and bring to another country, it will absolutely void the warranty. You would have to literally bring the machine back to the states in order to get service. Although Karcher is a German product, it doesnt matter which brand you purchase. All manufacturers have dealers in different countries and typically the warranty is only serviceable in the country of purchase. by Bill, Product Expert

This unit made our list because of the new features Karcher has introduced in their X-Series pressure washers.
They listened to what their customers were asking for, and started off with a world class, commercial grade Honda GX engine and paired it with their own German-engineered 3200 PSI axial pump. Then they redesigned the cart to be more user-friendly.
We like the detergent tank located at the bottom of the cart to give it stability, and make it easier to move around. We also like the larger tires that work better over rough terrain, and we really like that the handle folds down when you're done, so it takes up minimal room in your garage.
Wrap this whole package in Karcher's 2 year factory warranty, and you get good value for your dollar.

First the good news. The website is quite user friendly and I was able to find what I needed. Where I had questions customer service was helpful. Love the Karcher as well as GPs surface cleaner. Both very impressive. Also love the water broom and the telescopic wand.
Now the not as good news. Shipping seemed to have taken longer than expected and came fragmented. The Hyde Pivot nozzle does not work from the very moment out of the package and I need to speak with someone about either returning or exchanging the part. While the customer service phone help was good, better advice would have saved me some money and time on the sometimes confusing issue of brass and quickconnect parts. Turbo nozzle came with an incorrect quickconnect fitting, so therefore I have not yet been able to use it. I now I need to go find one locally.
All in all I recommend PWD particularly since I cannot blame them for Hydes faulty part.
PWD RESPONDS: We show that we shipped the adaptor you need to you, at no charge, on 4/11; you should have it in a day or two.
Hyde has been making tools for years, and stand behind their products. We suggest you give them a call, toll free, at 800-872-4933 for advice and/or warranty help.

Very Nice Product But Not Excellent!
First off the shipping: R&L Carriers of this unit was very unprofessional, they wouldn't ship the unit directly to my house b/c their truck wouldn't go into residential areas and they apparently shipped the unit on its side or upside down because there was oil in the carb, combustion area, and dripping out of the unit. Which I got fixed in a short amount of time.
Aside from that my only complaint about this unit is overall fitment of components. The chemical reservoir doesn't fit the front section of the frame very well and is held on by push tabs used in car interiors.. The front frame section only clips onto the main frame section which makes it feel sloppy. I will modify mine to be held on with zinc coated bolts. The pull start is in an akward spot behind a bracket that makes starting more difficult than most. And lastly the tips don't fit in their slots very well. They are very very tight and difficult to remove. My previous Karcher model used rubber grommets to hold them in which was alot more user friendly.
Aside from these minor issues I really like this unit! The Honda motor and Karcher pump work very well and are always easy to start.
If I had to do this over again I wouldn't change a thing!
