| Pressure Washers Direct Recommendation |
| By Pressure Washers Direct |
You really can't go wrong with a Honda GX engine. This Karcher 4000 PSI pressure washer packs plenty of punch for chores around the house or the job site.
As prosumer grade, its perfect for the entrepreneur starting a pressure washer business or the high-end homeowner who insists on the best toys possible.
We lowered the price on this model because Karcher is currently running a promotion.
Unfortunately, we don't know when the promotion ends.
If you're serious about this model, pull the trigger sooner rather than later.
Karcher can raise their prices at any time. |

| Disappointed |
| By Mike Le (Dulac, LA) |
I'm really disappointed with this washer. The pump needs repairs after only using it seven times. The hose already has to be replaced because for some reason a blade of grass must have punched a hole in it.
My old pressure washer was 13 years old and I never had to replace the hose or the pump. The service center is 60 miles from my home and Karcher has no customer service.
They only tell you to bring it the 60 miles to have it checked. I'll never buy another Karcher. |

| Great when it's running |
| By Virgil Dennis (Napa, CA) |
Bought the G4000OH and was impressed with it fit and assembly, very happy with the assembly and finish (however, all the decals fell off the pressure washer in the first two days of just sitting there).
I was very careful in making sure the instructions were followed to the letter (oil, etc) and started this baby up.
I used the 40 degree nozzle and surface-cleaned the lounge chair cushion box. It looked like new, and I was very impressed. I had not added much fuel, so when the machine stalled out after a minute or so I was not alarmed.
The next day went out to start pressure cleaning the house for painting (the reason I bought the 4000 model) and added more fuel, checked the fluids and cranked her up again.
The pressure washer really does cut the dirt and loose paint and things were going well right up until the Honda GX390 stalled out again, and again, and again every 90 seconds or so.
I left a problem report with Karcher and have gotten no response.
PWD RESPONDS: Karcher relies on a nation-wide network of service centers for warranty work.
To find the one closest to you simply click on 'Customer Service' at the bottom of our web site, then click on 'Service Centers'.
The link under the Karcher logo will take you directly to Karcher's service center locator. Just enter your zip code to see the contact info for the facilities closest to you. |

| It's all pretty sad |
| By David Angell (Oshkosh, WI) |
This unit was easy to assemble as others have noted, but out of the box the pump didn't work. The unit would not suck soap even when using the proper tip, Karcher soap solution, etc., etc.
I'm not a novice to pressure washers and have been using them for 15 years. I found the Karcher's only response was to "take it to an authorized dealer for repairs." I was given three choices. One was out of business. One had an eight week wait. The other was thirty miles away.
I selected the third option only to learn that the parts I required were on back order. So, long story short, three weeks after spending over $1100.00 on the unit with shipping and accessories, I've yet to clean my first boat.
In my business, time is money. This has been nothing short of a major hassle. I hope your luck is better than mine! |

| Karcher G4000OH easy to assemble |
| By John Blaha (Bel Air, MD) |
I received my pressure washer within 5 days of ordering. I was very happy with the ordering and delivery process.
Another reviewer says it took him an hour to assemble. Honestly it took me about 15-20 minutes.
The pressure washer works great, and the adjustment on the handle makes it that much easier.
I am very satisfied.
If I needed to, I would buy it again and from Pressure Washers Direct.com!!! |

| Karcher 4000 PSI is worth the extra money |
| By t cash (Cornersville, TN) |
In May of 2009 just bought the Karcher 4000 psi, 13hp power washer. The unit was delivered to my door in a professional manner. It took me about 1 hour to assemble the washer and insert oil, make sure all was set up for working order.
The unit started on about the 3rd pull. Overall, I am pleased with this unit- I wanted to be sure that I didn't purchase something too small to complete the tasks at hand.
This unit weighs about 120lbs when assembled so it's something that I can pick up and move (IF NECESSARY) but others might not be able to.
The Honda professional grade engine will last for years and years!!! It's worth an extra $300-400 to get a long lasting product. The 50' hose is a great item! Having something any shorter would be a hassle.
Users should make a note that this unit will not pull-start if there is any pressure in the system. To release the pressure simply pull the trigger on the gun.
The instructions don't mention this, but there is always some amount of pressure in the line & pump and if this isn't released then the pull starter is impossible to pull and could actually cause bodily injury if not careful.
This exact pressure washer has been around for years and is a professional grade product. |

| How to Clean Without a Ladder |
| By Kory Hays (Knoxville, TN) |
I have wanted to test this product for a while, and I finally had the time to clean my siding this past weekend.
The Ladder Saver LS55 surprised me with its power and range. Watching the product video impressed me, but once I used the Ladder Saver I was amazed at the power that came out of this little piece of metal.
The water this thing moves is truly something! I thought it was going to take an entire weekend to get this job done.
I have a large surface area to clean since the house is 2 stories tall with some tricky angles involved.
The Ladder Saver snapped easily onto the wand of my Karcher 3600psi pressure washer. It saved me at least an hour of moving a ladder into position over and over again.
Not only that, the Ladder Saver cleaned those steep, tricky angles with no problem. The spray completely reached the top of the house, which has to be close to 30 feet.
The spray is even and strong, and I didn't have to worry about a too-thin application of cleaner or rinsing water.
One nice feature of the Ladder Saver is that its power allows you to stand far enough away so the back spray off the house doesn't completely soak you! It was very nice not having to change out of wet clothes.
Here is the way I see it: the Ladder Saver seems expensive for a small piece of metal, but the results are WELL WORTH THE PRICE in my book.
I recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to mess with a ladder or an extension wand. It is very easy to attach and use! |
