Q: The distance from my water sourse to my car is 48'. But hose length for model k2.27cck is 15' . What do i need to do ? Thanks by Anonymous on January 11, 2012
A: For your situation, the best option would be to use a 50' garden hose to supply the machine. I do not suggest that you use longer than a 50' garden hose though or you will "starve" the pump.
On the high pressure hose side, you could also purchase a 25' extension hose to give you the additional reach if needed. I am posting a link to that hose below:

Q: With the"vario power spray" can I lower the pessure for more gentle washing? by Mark from Wisconsin on October 17, 2011
A: You cannot significantly adjust the pressure of this machine by adjusting the variable spray nozzle. The max psi rating of this machine is 1600 psi when spraying with a zero degree spray pattern. If you adjust this wand to a full fan spray pattern, you will lower the psi by about 200-300 psi. by Bill, Product Expert
Q: Can this pressure washer draw from a source, like a bucket of water? If so, could you explain briefly how it's done? by Jeff from California on September 28, 2011
A: Yes, all Karcher models are able to pull water from a standing source such as a tank or bucket. You will have to purchase Karcher's suction hose along with the necessary adapter in order to properly pull water in this way. I am posting links below to the suction hose and adapter that is needed. If you look at the specs tab for the suction hose, you can pull up an instruction sheet on how to pull water from a standing source.

Bill's Recommendation
These units come with wheels so it's easier to move them from task to task. The Karcher 1600 psi unit is ideal for smaller households.
It's way faster than a hose for washing your car, hosing off your lawn furniture, or washing your grill. It stores conveniently in a small space, and comes with a bonus car care kit.
It's a handy, light duty tool at a reasonable price.

Good for average homeowner use
This is a good tool for average homeowner use.
I wish it had a place to roll the power cord up on. The quick hose connect came off a couple of times, when I would move the washer.

Very Dissappointed
I purchased the washer to clean deck, porch, windows etc.....the soap dispensing feature is very inadequate. I wanted to upgrade to the 2000 psi but found out there would be 25% restocking fee plus shipping both ways on the old unit. No choice but to keep the old unit.
PWD RESPONDS: This pressure washer is best suited to smaller jobs- washing cars, small patios or decks, and cleaning lawn furniture.
To take on a larger job you might find it helpful to break it into smaller sections so your pressure washer doesn't overheat. 1600 PSI is still over 30 times more powerful than a garden hose, and can still be effective even without pressure washer-safe soap.
Please be sure you are using the proper dilution of pressure washer safe-detergent. Some super concentrates need to be diluted before use, and then the pressure washer dilutes it again. If the detergent is too thick it won't apply properly.
You could also use a garden sprayer (less than $10 at any home store) to apply the detergent, then power rinse with pressure washer.
Our Return Policy is linked at the bottom of every page of our website. We're sorry about the restock fee, but a used unit can't be re-sold as new. The restock covers the fees the manufacturers charge us to ship, clean, test/repair, repackage, and re-market the return as a reconditioned unit at a lower price.
