Don't Last
This is my 2nd Karcher power washer in four years. We use it about 2/3 times per year and run it no more than four hours each time. The first one had the ground fault circuitry in the plug go bad and then the motor.

The second one has just gone belly up with very little pressure. Not sure what the first model was but it looked exactly like this one. My neighbor's power washer looks like mine and it has also gone belly up. Don't think I will buy a Karcher again.

PWD RESPONDS: Any... more

Reconditioned Karcher 1750 Psi Electric Pressure Washer Review
I have a Karcher Model K2.26 Pressure Washer, but it does not have the accessories that I really want and need. The detergent suction hose does not work properly, will not stay in the bucket or container, the pressure is not high/hard enough to properly clean anything such as concrete driveway, car port, walls.

I just purchased a K3.86M Pressure Washer. It is the difference from night and day. It has a detergent tank that really works, has a much higher pressure needed for the concrete... more

Not As Good As They Used To Be
A year ago I bought a K 3.86 M washer because my 10 year old K 330 finally wore out. The older 330 did a very good job for a light duty washer. I used it for many wash jobs that it was too small for but it still held up for the work and did a reasonably good job.

The newer 3.86 lasted a year and sprung leaks everywhere. It's plastic pump housing couldn't hold up as well as the 330's metal pump housing.

The electric washers fit my needs better because of the auto shut off feature,... more

Did Not Last Very Long (not Our Customer; Do Not Post)
I was surprised at how well it worked at first. But after a short time the unit started losing pressure. Tried contacting Karcher through their website but had no luck. I sent them multiple emails that went unanswered. The unit finally quit altogether and a repair shop wanted more to fix it than I paid for it.

Tried contacting Karcher again to see if I could buy the pump and install it myself but once a again I had no luck. I advise people to stay away from this company's products because... more

Couldn't Live Without It!
The more I use the unit, the more uses I come up with for it. Have you ever tried to clean a shadow box fence without one? It's impossible.

I think too many people think power washers are for shop junkies and pros. In actuality, they can be used more often than most of the 'basic' tools cluttering up tool chests.

Between the money and time saved, and the superior job preparation afforded by it, they pay for themselves in a matter of months.

Trigger Gun Part
I loved this model pressure washer last year; I emptied & cleaned it at season end.

This year it leaks & a plastic part on the seam is splitting. I have to buy the whole gun to replace it. By the other reviews I would say this is a problem that should be corrected.

PWD RESPONDS: Please be sure to either store your pressure washer away from freezing temperatures, or use a Pump Guard product over the winter to keep residual water in your unit from freezing and causing damage.

Poor Quality Reconditioned
Not quite 2 years ago, I purchased a Recon Karcher electric pressure washer. Needless to say i am not at all pleased with the quality of the unit. While it worked--it performed fine. The unit was used very sparingly and didn't have more than about 8 hrs of run time on it. Within the first 2 months, the OnOff switch broke. Try to get a replacement knob. the whole unit has to be taken apart. Luckily , it broke off in the " ON " position and was still able to use it and I left it... more
