| Pressure Washers Direct Recommendation |
| By Pressure Washers Direct |
This is one of Karcher's best selling units for a reason: it has the same axial pump Karcher uses on their small gas pressure washers and a sturdy induction motor, at a great price.
It can handle around-the-house chores with ease, and would do fine cleaning off light equipment like Bobcats, front loaders and tractors.

| Not built like they used to be... wrong tool for the job |
| By john griffith (Galloway, NJ) |
I've gone through a power washer a year for the past 7 years, no exaggeration.
I print T-shirts and the pressure washer is an essential part of cleaning, and developing designs on light sensitive emulsion coated screens.
In years past Karcher has had very high quality pressure washer designs, but over the past two or three years these pieces of junk last a month or maybe three, then they're leaking on the floor, or the seals break and it can't hold compression.
Then it's back to Home Depot or Lowes to return it under the limited warranty. Husky also makes a couple of cheap models, but they are not worth their weight in corn.
Back five years ago they were all decent... now anything cheaper than 150$ is pretty much garbage. Don't be swindled by this five star rating because this model is a joke.
PWD RESPONDS: Commercial use requires a professional grade product. You will spend more money up front, but it will do the job for years. AR, Kranzle, and Shark are all professional grade products with good track records that you won't see in the Big Box stores- take a look! |

| Terrific washer |
| By B Kay (Houston, TX) |
I have previously owned 3 other pressure washers: two were electric and one was a 2500 PSI gas Excel model with a Briggs & Stratton engine purchased at HD.
The Karcher K5.93M is BY FAR the best PW of the 4. The Dirtbuster wand attachment - with the rotating water pattern - powered off the toughest concrete stains I had on my huge driveway (a job that, in the past, took 5 hours; I completed it in about half that time). Even the dried up paint the window guys left behind came off easily.
I live in Houston, TX where heat, humidity, and rain is the perfect breeding ground for mold and mildew. I purchased the pressure washer on Saturday and had it by Wednesday. I hooked it up the next weekend just to test it and make sure it worked, and I ended up using it for 3 hours - pressure washing was fun again. The mold, mildew etc came off faster than ever before.
I am amazed at what this electric PW can do. I just hope that it lasts me a long, long time.
PROS - amazing pressure, quiet, light weight, well written instructions and care tips.
CONS - hose inlet is sorta hard to get to when trying to unscrew a garden hose, lack of place to hang or store hose and power cord when not in use.
PWD RESPONDS: A garden hose quick connect will save your knuckles; please see our Adaptor section for details. |
