1 Question
Q: Bill,
I purchased this hose for use with my 2011 model Generac 2700 PSI washer. Unfortunately, the fittings are wrong, and I can't figure out which adapters to buy to make this hose work with my machine. Can you help me out? If those hose won't work, is there any other 50 foot hose that will work with this machine?
Thanks.

A: The Kobrajet II features say it comes with 1/4" threaded ends; both ends are male. If the Generac washer you have is Model 6022 (the one we carry), the spec sheet Generac gave us says it has 1/4" threaded connectors, but doesn't indicate the gender of the connectors, and you email didn't mention what they were.
Once you figure out the gender of the adaptors you need, you may want to go ahead and use quick connectors- they'll save wear & tear on your knuckles. If we don't carry what you need, connectors should be available at your local hardware store, or check your Yellow Pages for Hydraulic Hose suppliers.
Something to consider- the more you extend your pressure hose, the more pressure you lose coming out the end of your wand. On a machine under 3000 PSI, you will start to see a reduction in pressure if you use more than double the original length of your hose- adding a 50 foot hose to the original 25 foot hose, for example.
It may be more economical to use a longer garden hose to supply your pressure washer, and keep the original length of your pressure hose; or balance a longer garden hose with just double the original pressure hose length for best performance.
