I just purchased this pressure washer from Pressure Washers Direct.
I do not like it at all for a few reasons. 1st there is no temperature setting. When I read up to a certain degree I assumed that meant if you turned it up all the way. 2nd it is so heavy and awkward I can barley push it. Plus it is very difficult to turn. 3rd it requires a special outlet to fit the plug, which of course I do not have.
After reading this companies return policy I might as well eat it. After paying $2,849.00 if I want to return it there is a 25% restocking fee which is over 700 dollars, plus shipping which is another 500.
NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.
PWD RESPONDS:
I looked at our listing for this unit, and it plainly states in the Features and the Specs that it is a 230V unit. Like many other large appliances, that means it uses a different outlet than a 115V household plug.
The weight is listed in the Specs as 270 pounds, which I also checked- it is correct. It is also a common weight range for professional hot-water units, as is the 4-wheel cart to help maneuver that much weight. I can see how you might find it a lot to push around, but the unit was described accurately on our web site.
You may be able to alter the temperature of the water by regulating how high the hot water heater is burning. I would suggest giving the folks at Mi-T-M a call, toll free, at (800) 553-9053 for their advice on getting the water into the temperature range you need.
We post a link to our Returns policy at the bottom of every page of our web site. The larger and more expensive a unit is, the more it costs, unfortunately, to return it to the manufacturer.
I hope that once you get a 230V outlet wired into your location (like adding a stove or dryer) you will find that the pressure washer meets your cleaning needs.
For future buyers, please remember our product experts are available by phone and email to make sure you get the best investment for your budget and expectations.
