Q: Can this unit be hooked up to hot water for aid in removing grease without damaging the piump? by Mike on March 04, 2012
A: This model, like all "cold water" rated pressure washers, can accept water up to 104 F degrees. Any temperature of water hotter than that will definitely cause damage to the pump's seals and cause the pump to stop creating pressure. by Bill, Product Expert

A: The PowerBoss model 20453 uses a vertical shaft engine and pump. This machine does come with a Honda GCV engine which is the same as GC, the V just stands for vertical. by Bill, Product Expert

Bill's Recommendation
This unit from PowerBoss tops our chart with it's Honda GCV engine. Honda's reputation is well deserved- durable, easy to start, and quieter than other small engines.
An on-board detergent tank makes washing multiple locations a piece of cake- no sloppy buckets to contend with.
