Q: WHATS THE BEST ENGINE FOR THE WEAR AND TEAR, AND THAT WOULD HAVE THE LONGEST LIFE? ALSO WHICH IS THE BEST FOR AROUND THE HOME, A CONSUMER, OR PROSUMER PRESSURE WASHER? by John from New Hampshire on March 27, 2011
A: The best and most durable small engine available for pressure washers is the Honda GX engine.
Depending on how often and what types of projects you want to complete, will determine if you need a consumer or prosumer grade pressure washer. A prosumer grade pressure washer will have an upgraded engine and pump installed and will have a longer lifespan than a consumer grade model. A prosumer model can also be used more frequently than a consumer grade machine.
