Q: Hey Bill what is the best powerwasher to use on my new car. I want to be sure i do not use too much pressure to damage the paint or strip off the wax. I want to use the powerwasher to apply a preliminary detergent and wash away dirt before detailing. Thank.

A: In all honesty, you don't have to worry about psi when it comes to a pressure washer. As long as you are using the washer properly, you could have 5000 psi gas washer and still do a great job on your car. You would just need to use your tips correctly on the washer.
When it comes to an electric model you can do just about anything 2000 psi and below. You may want to have the extra psi to do other jobs around the house. All the electric models similar to the unit you are asking about are going to have adjustable pressure, so you can tone down the pressur if you need to. This would be done at the wand.
