| Fed up |
| By james wright (Kirkwood, IL) |
This is a terrible product; I used it for about 30 minutes and it just quit. I am pretty well fed up.
PWD RESPONDS: We checked our files and didn't see where you purchased the unit from us, but you can still contact Powerwasher directly since that unit has a 1 year Factory Warranty.
Just go to their web site at http://power-washer.us/troubleshooting.php , and use the Live Chat feature to fill out your warranty claim. They will be happy to work with you on a simple troubleshooting checklist, and then determine if the unit needs replacement or repair.
You will need a copy of your receipt and the serial number of the unit, so be sure to have that handy when you log on. |

| Don't buy it |
| By James Burrill (S. Deerfield, MA) |
Dont buy this power washer. I used mine for about three hours the first time and it seemed to work fine. The next day it quit after 15 minutes.
I contacted the company and they said they would get back to me. Two months later I decided to see if I could correct the problem myself. I was sure it was the pressure sensor that was the problem.
Sure enough, the spring sensor was stuck. In an attempt to free it up, I broke off the rather fragile, brass microswitch post. Now, the washer motor wont shut off. This would be OK except that the pressure builds to such an extent that the sprayer valve won't open, leaving the unit totally useless.
PWD RESPONDS: We checked our files, and don't see where you bought the unit from us, so it must have been Powerwasher that you tried to contact.
Powerwasher is contacted through their web site at www.power-washer.us; you set up a warranty claim with their Live Chat Assistant online, in real time. They are available every day.
With most small electric pressure washers they will arrange to have you send the faulty unit back and they replace it, since it's more cost effective that way.
The Factory Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but unfortunately you voided the warranty when you opened the case. |

| Poor design |
| By Thomas Collins (Port Charlotte, FL) |
Our 1600 is poorly designed and constructed. The critical Quick Connector is made of of flimsy, non-strength plastic that self-destructs at the worst possible moment.
Naturally they have parts available at about $8.95 plus an exorbitant shipping charge of close to 9.95, give or take a few nickels.
I will never purchase their products again. I do not expect this to get on their GLOW PAGE.
PWD RESPONDS: Powerwasher has a 1 year Factory Warranty on their units. If the breakage was due to a flaw in the product they will replace the part at no cost. Unfortunately most companies will not allow warranty replacement due to wear and tear or abuse.
Plastic components help keep the unit lightweight and the price low. You will see more metal connectors as the price of the unit goes up.
The hose connection points on any electric pressure washer are vulnerable, and care should be taken not to pull the unit by the hose, or let the unit fall on the connector. |

| Great product |
| By Mary A (Gainesville, GA) |
I received this machine as a gift. It was easy to hook up and use- I washed my house (vinyl siding) in just a few hours.
The tank for detergent is a nice feature and makes the whole process easier.
I would definitely recommend this power washer, especially to ladies. |

| I'm happy |
| By John Ferree (Seagrove, NC) |
My new PWS1600 arrived yesterday and I hooked it up this morning. I've always rented the big gasoline units from a local equipment rental shop to clean my considerable expanse of decks and was unsure whether this "little" electric unit could compare.
The pleasant surprise was that it is perfect. Cleans like a whiz (decks, deck furniture, and even flower pots) without all the noise and without heavy wands and nozzles. It is powerful enough to clean quickly but without damaging the wood (as the larger units can do if you don't stay focused).
For less than three days rental of a commercial machine, I have a unit that does a great job and is mine to use whenever I want. Good deal. Thanks. |

| Powerwasher 1600 PSI Electric Pressure Washer Review |
| By Pressure Washers Direct |
The Powerwasher PWS1600 has the strength of a 1600 PSI pressure washer for the price of a 1300 PSI unit.
At just $149.99 delivered to your door, the Powerwasher 1600 PSI electric power washer is an attractive alternative to some tiny little power washer.
In addition, it features a built-in detergent tank, which makes spraying soap a breeze.
If you're looking for a decent electric unit at an affordable price, here's your chance! :) |

| Great pressure washer. Lots of features, like on-board soap tank and turbo nozzle. Larger than most wheels. Well packed, plenty of power for my place |
