| Exceeded Expectations |
| By JJ Bishop (Hudson, FL) |
I am getting a bit older and want less hassle in my life, so I bought the electric unit to clean my docks as well as my boat. I didn't want to drag out my gas unit to do these quick jobs.
While I wasn't expecting performance anywhere near my gas unit, I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. This thing is perfect for these tasks plus a few more.
I find myself using this pressure washer more than the gas one. It's easy to use and doesn't gouge the wood on my dock.
Another thing I use it for is to get the road dirt off of my Harley. I would never use the gas machine on my bike but this one works fine. I got an undercarriage accessory kit and use it to remove the road grime.
While I haven't used it on my gutters yet, I'm sure it'll do a good job there as well. |

| Totally Impressed |
| By Bob Sidway (Manchester, NH) |
I am totally impressed with the Task Force 2000 Max-PSI Electric Pressure Washer.
My daughter gave it to me for my birthday and I have used it to clean my deck, lawn chairs, screen porch, patio and siding.
I would have never bought an electric washer, but I am glad my daughter did. It is more powerful than I expected and it works great. Just hook up the hose, plug it in and clean mold and mildew like never before.
I recommend this product- you won't be sorry.
PWD RESPONDS: Both Task Force and Powerwasher are made by the good folks at Faip. |

| Horrible experience with the machine |
| By Brian Burke (North Billerica, MA) |
I had received a PWS1800-U for Christmas and took it out of the box about a week ago (6/2/09).
It had about 6 hours of run time on it when this past Sunday I was washing some plastic lawn furniture and the motor just gave up. A large puff of smoke came out of the unit and it stopped working.
The tough part of the story is that it was a gift and I’m trying to track down the internet receipt and that it was about 6 months ago.
It was a great little machine and I was cleaning up a storm until it stopped working.
I had just registered on line and looked through the manufacturer's spare parts and I didn’t see a motor listed.
I have emailed the manufacturer two times and all I've gotten is an automatic e-mail.
PWD RESPONDS: Please click on the Customer Service button at the bottom of our web site, then click on Technical Support, and then choose Powerwasher.
You will be taken to their web site, and you will see their Live Chat box on the left side of the screen instead of a toll free number to call.
Just type in your situation, and they will help you right there. It really is a live person at the other end!
Another tip: electric pressure washers need time to cool off;. Check every 30 minutes or so; if the air coming out of the vents is hot, then take a break for 10 minutes or so; longer if it's a very hot day. |

| Keeps turning off after only 5 minutes |
| By donald dinunzio (Bradenton, FL) |
This unit has been a problem since day one. I've only used it 3 times to clean our pool patio deck.
At first, it used to turn off after about 10 minutes of use. Overheating after just 10 minutes???? Now it goes off after 2 minutes! It's very exasperating.
There is no "800" number to call, just their "customer service" email address. I'm still waiting for a response on the status of my "ticket number"....... |

| Powerwasher 1800 PSI Electric Pressure Washer w/ Hose Reel Review |
| By lowell mcpherson (Sacramento, CA) |
I tested the unit for 30 minutes when I first got it, it worked fine. A week later I began to clean bricks, flagstone and patio furniture.
After about an hour the "automatic total stop" (motor stops when trigger is released) feature began failing.
Also, the design could be much better: the washer hose connection located on the back of the unit is too close to the power cord and the unit's exterior cover.
This makes it a little more challenging to connect and disconnect the washer hose. Also, the two wands do not fit in the side holder without some effort.
PWD RESPONDS: Powerwasher units have a one year factory warranty. Please contact them at www.pwhelp.com, they will be happy to assist you. |
