This is a phenomenal pressure cleaner and the tipping point is the 3.0 gallons per minute. All the pressure in the world is no good unless you have plenty of water to follow it up.
I live in South Florida and it may be the pressure washer capital of the world. Our sub-tropical weather really gets the mold growing on most surfaces. I've use many pressure washers, even sold them at a national department store, and this is the best one.
The HONDA GX200 is a smooth operating, commercial grade engine and it holds over a gallon of gas for long operation time. The General Pump is one of the best in the business, and the most important part of the pump is that the housing where the pistons are is all brass. Not cheap aluminum as you'll find in homeowner grade combinations.
But the cleaning part is just great. 2700PSI is still very high and at 3.0GPM there is plenty of cleaning power @ 8100 psi x gpm=cleaning unit. You are better off with this rating than a machine at 3000PSI @ 2.7 gallons, also 8100 PSI, because of the water volume.
At very high pressures you can start destroying the finish or take paint off the house or building. Another good feature is you can lower the output pressure if you are cleaning something more delicate such as a boat or car. You do not want to drive the dirt into the finish.
Go to a lower pressure, use a wider degree spray head and back off the surface. Just be sure that when you need to replace a spray nozzle that its .035 diameter hole. On the nozzle head an etching such as 15035 means 15 degree & 35 thousands of an inch. Do not get a .030 because this will put more back pressure on the pump, hoses etc.
You'll find this size tip usually at lawn mower shops that sell pressure washers, or on this web site. The big box stores will usually have only .030.
If you want a nice pressure cleaner and more than plenty to use everyday doing a business, this is a great set up.
