James,
You may want to call Briggs & Stratton directly at (800) 743-4115. Please be sure to have the serial number of your unit handy when you call; they will probably ask for it.

Amplifi Has Possibilities
When I first used the Amplifi there were some minor issues that I was able to work out. You would think that with the backing of Briggs & Stratton the warranty would be stronger but that is fine.

For a $200 item it has done the job I wanted it to do and maybe I will get additional value/use out of this product.

It has been fun cleaning my vinyl siding with this unit.
Pros: Features, Easy To Use, Easy To Store
Cons: Warranty Needs To Be Better

Much Easier Than A Power Washer
This system is absolutely great for washing windows on a second story house. It is worth the price for that alone.

As a plus, it is great for washing down your driveway - much faster than a normal hose and much easier than a power washer.

I leave my front tap hooked to Amplify continuously.

Great Idea, Very Bad Manufacturing-result:a Very Poor Product
Here is a product review that is not written by someone working for B&S. This power hose is a terrific idea. I have low outside water pressure and a product to boost it is something I can really use.

I purchased this unit from a reliable on-line company- it did not work, B&S pump never kicked on. I returned it for a replacement and the replacement did not work. I returned it for a refund. I then found it at my Lowe's store and opted to buy it yet again... because I can really... more

Mark,
Page 15 of the Amplifi Owner's Manual says "Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group, LLC will repair or replace, free of charge, any part(s) of the hose powering system that is defective in material or workmanship or both." and defines the warranty period as 90 days.

If the unit didn't work out of the box, then repairs at the Briggs' Warranty Service Center would have been at no charge.

For folks reading this review, the Owner's Manual also says: "NOTICE Connect ONLY to water source capable of supplying
a minimum of 6 gpm at 30 psi." If there isn't enough water coming out of your spigot, the unit will not work.

To determine your GPM without a fancy meter, you need a 5-gallon bucket (always check the bucket to make sure it holds 5 gallons, because there are a lot of 4 and 4.5 gallon buckets out there) and a watch or clock with a second hand.

1. Count how many seconds it takes to fill the bucket with the water.

2. Divide 5 (gallons) by the number of seconds it took to fill the bucket, and then multiply by 60 (seconds). This gives you the number of gallons of water per minute coming out of your spigot.

For example: If you measure 36 seconds to fill the 5-gallon bucket, your equation is: 5 ๗ 36 = 0.14. Next, 0.14 x 60 = 8.4 gallons per minute.
