Q: I bought a Simpson 3100 from Sam's that was the display model, when I got home there were no spray nozzles. I think the bag blew out of the pickup. Anyway, I need to get tips for the sprayer, a model MSV3100 p/n 60464. Are tips available separately? by John Owens from New Mexico on August 30, 2011
A: Yes, there are definitely spray tips available for purchase. I am posting a link below to the correct size tips you would purchase for that model:
Q: I'M CONCIDERING BUYING A SIMPSON 3100 MODEL MSV3100. DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PRESSURE WASHERS. I'M A FARMER AND I WILL USE IT AS AN ALL AROUND PURPOSE WASHER. IS THIS A GOOD PRESSURE WASHER by LARRY GUNTER from South Carolina on March 26, 2011
A: Simpson is one of the first and largest pressure washer manufacturers in the U.S. and they make great quality pressure washers. Also, this model has a Honda engine installed on it which is one of the most reliable small engines available for pressure washers. You can definitely use this model pressure washer as an all purpose machine that would be capable of handling a variety of tasks by Bill, Product Expert
Q: I have moss buildup on my concrete patio which is very thick. I need a pressure washer that will clean down to the concrete in a fairly short period of time. I've used the 2600 psi versions before but they do not cut it. Any advice? by Robert Olsen from Washington on March 26, 2011
A: I would definitely recommend using a pressure washer with at least 3000 psi. A 3000psi pressure washer is normally sufficient for cleaning concrete. Given the amount of moss build up that you have and depending on how large of an area you have to clean, you might want to purchase a pressure washer with a psi rating between 3400-4000 psi to complete the project as fast as possible. by Bill, Product Expert
Q: I bought a 3100 psi Simpson PW @ Sam's Club. Can I get a 50 foot hose with fittings for this machine from you/Simpson? by Bert Solomon from South Carolina on March 26, 2011
A: Yes, we carry a 5/16" 50' hose by Legacy.
I posted a link below to the hose I am referring to:
I used the pressure washer one time and it quit working. I had to go and buy a new spray handle at a cost of $50.00 and another $15.00 for parts to get the new wand hooked up.
I would not recommend that anyone buy this product unless you're ready to spend more money for replacing the spray handle.
PWD RESPONDS: There is a 90 day warranty on the hose and gun; just give the folks at Simpson a call at (847) 348-1508.

Great Machine
Engine started right away and has lots of pressure for home use. It is very rugged with large wheels and steel rims. Very easy to maneuver around rough terrain!
I had bought the generac 3000psi and although it was good the non flat tire came off as I went down stairs so I took it back to a big box store and bought this one. Much happier!!!

Bills Recommendation
The Megashot is a great choice for folks with large projects in mind. The 3100 PSI and 2.5 GPM make short work of estate homes, broad expanses of pool decks and patios, etc.
The Honda engine is quiet and reliable, and their reputation for being easy to start is well deserved.
The sturdy cart is well balanced, and the low profile makes it easier to wheel around and store.
