Q: please tell me the difference between siphon tube and downstream injection for the use of cleaning agents by J. Keller from New York on July 15, 2011
A: Truthfully a siphon hose injection is somewhat the same as a downstream injection, meaning that the chemical is injected into the water stream after the pump. The real difference between a siphon hose and downstream injection is that the siphon hose chemical injector is part of the pump but injects the water into the discharge portion of the pump. A true downstream chemical injection (which could also be a siphon hose type) is located after the pump's high pressure discharge portion of the pump or at the end of the wand.
