ROMEOVILLE, IL (February 01, 2007) - Finding a selection of pressure washers is easy. But with so many types of pressure washers on the market, it can be difficult selecting the best value.
PressureWashersDirect.com, an online pressure washer superstore carrying nearly 70 different models, is helping homeowners pick the perfect pressure washer by publishing its annual list of top-selling pressure washers.
"Once we loaded all of the models into our extensive database, customers could easily determine which models were the best value based on price and features," said Jon Hoch, founder of PressureWashersDirect.com.
The Romeoville, IL-based e-tailer announced the best-selling pressure washers in six categories, ranging from small electric power washers to large gasoline-powered pressure washers.
Best-Selling Electric Power Washers
Small: Campbell Hausfeld PW1310
The Campbell Hausfeld PW1310 is a great entry-level electric pressure washer.
At 1300 PSI, it's 30 times more powerful than a traditional garden hose. It also includes some extra attachments, including a turbo nozzle and a detergent bottle.
“It's perfect for cleaning very small surface areas, like patio furniture and grills," said Hoch. “If you have bigger projects like decks and sidewalks, you should consider getting a much larger power washer."
Medium: Powerwasher PWS1600
The Powerwasher 1600 PSI electric power washer is an attractive alternative to some tiny, little power washer. The PWS1600 has the strength of a 1600 PSI pressure washer for the price of a 1300 PSI unit.
In addition, it features a built-in detergent tank, which makes soap spraying a breeze, according to Hoch.
Large: Powerwasher PWS1750
Good luck trying to find a selection of 1750 PSI electric power washers in stores. At best, you might find one model collecting dust on the back of some store shelf.
PressureWashersDirect.com carries a broad selection of large electric models. So what makes the Powerwasher PWS1750 a best-seller?
It stands out for two main reasons. First, it has a built in hose reel, which makes power washing and storage a snap.

Medium: Karcher G2400HH
The overall best selling pressure washer in 2006 was ... drum roll, please ... Karcher's G2400HH. This marks the fourth consecutive year Karcher's 2400 PSI pressure washer topped the charts.
According to Hoch, who personally uses this model at his home, the Karcher 2400 PSI pressure washer is perfect for residential use. Its 5-horsepower Honda engine has plenty of power to tackle the toughest household chores. Plus, it comes with a DirtBlaster® rotating nozzle, which significantly speeds up cleaning time.
Don’t expect this model to repeat as a best seller in 2007. Karcher is replacing the model with a newer version. The specifications remain about the same, but it doesn’t include the extra accessories such as a turbo nozzle or longer high pressure hose.
PressureWashersDirect.com currently has less than 100 pieces of this best seller in-stock. According to Hoch, once they’re gone; they’re gone forever.
Large: Karcher G3000OH
The Karcher G3000OH tops the charts as the best selling large gas pressure washer because it has two very unique characteristics. First, it’s powerful. It features a 6-HP Honda engine, which produces a whopping 3000 PSI.
But more importantly, the Karcher G3000OH is actually affordable. Most 3000 PSI pressure washers cost more than $1,000, according to Hoch. This model currently retails at PressureWashersDirect.com for just $599.99.
