Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Pressure Washer Expert
I purchased an AR 2000 psi electric unit couple of months ago. Great unit. Would like a jetter kit to maintain clean sewer drain lines. Any particular reason these kits are not suggested for electric washers.?? Seems to me 2000 psi would be sufficient to move the lines in & out. Any help is appreciated.

Answer
If you have the AR390SS the connectors would probably fit- but that wouldn't be the case for most consumer-grade electric pressure washers.
It's not just the water pressure (PSI); it's also the volume of water (gallons-per-minute, or GPM). The AR390SS pushes 1.4 GPM; but most gas units start at 2 GPM and go higher. You need enough pressure to break the clog and enough volume to move the clog backward out of the pipe.
This unit has a maximum rating of 4000 PSI and 4.5 GPM, so its best performance would likely be between about half that (2000 PSI and 2.5 PSI) and just under max (3800 PSI and 4 GPM)

Answer
It comes with what is called a fixed or laser nozzle. This is the best for residential pipes. It will have 1 forward jet to break up the clog and 3 rear facing jets to help the hose advance down the pipe and then continue to break up the clog.
