Q: Does this nozzle take the place of normal nozzle at the end of lance? Will I need to use normal nozzle for pressure washing? by Bob K from Pennsylvania on September 28, 2011
A: In a sense, yes this nozzle will replace a standard spray tip. Meaning, you can spray detergent thru this nozzle and then close off the detergent flow thru the adjustment knob and spray just high pressure water. This nozzle produces a cone shaped spray pattern unlike the normal fan spray pattern that a standard spray tip would. by Bill, Product Expert
Q: Do you have any videos or pdf files explaining how this (General Pump High Pressure Soap Shooter Nozzle with Rinse Capability (#4.0) hooks up to your pressure washer? by Glenn Taylor from South Carolina on May 26, 2011
A: Honestly, you really don't need a video. This is going to hook into the end of your lance the same way one of your other nozzles would. You then take the other end of the siphon tube and put it into a bucket of detergent and water and the siphon would pull it from the bucket and go out the pressure washer and that is it. If you have more questions, you can call and talk to us about it, but it is as simple as that.

Q: Can you use bleach when using High Pressure Soap Shooter since chemicals does not run thru pump by KC from North Carolina on April 27, 2011
A: Yes, you could definitely use bleach thru this GP high pressure soap shooter nozzle. You are correct, the chemical will absolutely not affect your pump, hose, or gun if you were to use bleach with this type of injector. by Bill, Product Expert
Q: Bill, I just bought a used Coleman Powermate 2750 that works really great. I would like to know how to use the chemicla pick-up system. The pick-up tube came with it and looks like it's never been used. I have a two story house with mildew on the North and West sides and need to apply chlorine mixture. Please tell me just how to use the system. Thank you very much in advance. by Tony Holcombe from Florida on April 02, 2011
A: With a siphon hose chemical injection system, you can only apply the detergent at low pressure. To pull the detergent out of a container, you have to attach the black "detergent" spray tip to your wand. You will not be able to pull detergent using any other high pressure spray tip. If you happen to have an adjustable spray wand, you have to rotate it to your low pressure setting.
If you need to reach 2nd story levels with detergent or you wish to apply detergents at high pressure, you could always purchase a high pressure soap shooter nozzle. I posted a link below to the item:
Q: I'm prepping my house for sale. Will the Briggs & Stratton Model 20418 be enough to clean the outside of a two story house? by William Sumner from North Carolina on March 27, 2011
A: Yes, this model pressure washer definitely has enough pressure to accomplish what you are trying to do. The recommended size pressure washer for your application is between 2600-3000 psi. Remember, you can only spray detergent at low pressure so you might have to use a ladder to reach the higher levels with detergent.
You can also purchase a high pressure soap shooter nozzle that allows you to increase the distance of your spray and allows you to spray detergent at high pressure. I posted a link to the soap shooter nozzle below:
All I hoped for and more. This device really delivers, I can spray detergent on my second story siding and gutters something I could not do with the factory pressure washer detergent attachment.
I no longer worry about what detergent I am using as it does not go through the pump.
Great product at a great price.

Great Unit!
I bought the Simpson made in USA brand because of the Honda GX engine and General triplex pump. This unit is awesome!
Easy to start and operate. The Honda engine is easy on fuel considering the engine CC and HP.
What a time saver, I pressure washed everything from floor mats to my concrete driveway using the various spray tips supplied. I also purchased the #4.0 soap shooter that bypasses the pump when using cleaning fluids not recommended for pump injection.
The sales person was helpful during my purchase and shipping was on time and the unit arrived in great condition.

Works Great!
Helped a bunch shooting way up. Sometimes though the gravity has a problem keeping from shooting the soap through the nozzle.
So start shooting soap low and go up with it as you apply the soap. I love it because this allows me to bypass my pump on my pressure washer.

Soap Shooter works great
It works great, can reach the second story of 2 story homes with ease; just the siphon hose is a bit too long. Instead of 30 feet it needs to be around 15, so I just cut my length of hose to 15 feet and I have had no problems with mine.
Great tool, would recommend the Soap Shooter to every one.

Soap Application
I own a window and pressure cleaning business. With the majority of my business coming in the residential area, buying a high pressure soap jet was something I needed to research.
Another brand was recommended to me by a friend, but I didn't want to spend the money at the time, so I purchased this item. The quick connect fitting creates easy transfer from tips, extensions, etc.
Gravity plays a negative role at times, however. Holding your wand above your head with this tool will more times than not stop the flow of the chemicals you are using. This costs time and money. Overall I would recommend this item for smaller 2 story homes.
I am still looking to find what the ratio is for chemical to water when using a concentrated soap. Any answers??
PWD RESPONDS: Pressure washers dilute whatever is in the bucket at a 10 parts water to 1 part detergent ratio.
Many of the pressure washer safe detergents we sell are ready to go right out of the bottle. The Campbell Hausfeld gallon-size products are a good example of this type.
Some brands are super concentrated, meaning you have to dilute them with water in the bucket so they are the proper strength for the pressure washer to dilute it again. Karcher's convenient Soap Pacs are a good example of this type.
Detergents specifically meant for pressure washers will have dilution ratios listed on the label so you can clean the most amount of surface with the least amount of detergent, getting the most bang for your buck.
Pressure washer safe detergents will also not harm the seals in your pump (the way chlorine bleach will); and they won't foam so much you can't get them rinsed off (the way dish detergent does).
As a commercial user, you may want to check out the Syntec line of pressure washer detergents that we carry. They are available in money-saving large containers, with a full line of cleaners available.
