Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Pressure Washer Expert
Thank you for your recommendation to purchase the AR620. I mounted on the wall in my garage and it works great. Wow, I would hate to Hand Carry that thing around. Anyway I believe it has the standard 25 rubber hose and I want to go to 50. I saw the Monster hose you have on sale but I think my hose is 1/4 inch not 3/8 inch. Do I need to go up to 3/8 when I go to 50? I wish someone made a durable hose that was very flexible, my current hose gets twisted pretty easily washing to cars. Also it's kind of a pain to shut the machine off while washing the car in order to follow the manufacturer's rule of turn it off after 2 minutes of non use. I just cant wash the car fast enough. Anyway what hose do you think I need? I'm okay with adding 25 feet to get to 50 feet or a straight 50 footer. Thanks.

Answer
I have included a link to the hose I recommend, this also comes with the necessary adapter to connect it to your original hose. This will give you 50 total feet.
hello bill, i am in the plumbing business and noticed that most sewer jetter have the same psi and rpm as the high end pressure washers, aside from the hoses what is the difference?

Answer
The difference is in the nozzle.
A pipe cleaning nozzle vents backwards, allowing the water pressure to move it through the pipe. As the hose is pulled back, the water breaks up clogs and debris.
Water pressure, nozzle size, and hose size need to work together based on the size and length of the pipe to be cleaned.

The AR 620 has a pressure adjustment. When the PSI is reduced does it increase the GPM, or does it stay the same?
from
October 25, 2011
Answer
As you reduce the psi, the gpm will slightly increase. However, the highest gpm rating you can get from the pump on this model is 2.1 gpm's. The rating of 1900 psi and 2.1 gpm is the max rating of this pressure washer, not the operating ratings. This is how all pressure washers are listed and adverstised as.

Hello Bill my name is Richard, I've been looking for a pressure washer that can pull water from a tank of water (self priming) for a mobile detail business so it has to be electric because of the noise. Looking for something under 500 dollar at 1800 psi or up. Any toughts? Thank you for your time.

Answer
Only Karcher, Kranzle, and DirtKiller brand pressure washers have self priming pumps with this capability. Any model from these brands can pull water from a tank. In your price range, you will more than likely have to purchase a Karcher model. Kranzle offers the best quality pressure washers made but the lowest costing model is around $670.00.
