Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Pressure Washer Expert
I went to replace the thermal sensor on my pump and the thread broke off. Is it possible to just purchase the brass plunger section and not the entire pump assembly.

Answer
Unfortunately, we do not specialize in parts here. I would recommend reaching out to the folks at CAT to see where one can be purchased. They can be reached at 763-780-5440

I bought a DEWALT washer with a Honda GX200 (3400-PSI 2-5-GPM) I would like to know if this pump (SLP4PPX30GSI-057) will work with it? The current one broke after less than a year!

Answer
Yes this will pair perfectly with your Honda GX200 engine. CAT is the most reputable brand in the industry so you should get a longer life then your original pump. I'd still like to provide you a couple of tips to make your pump last as long as possible.
The fastest ways to kill a pressure washer pump are by not adding pump saver when it will be stored for longer than a month and using detergent that is not labeled pressure washer safe. But by far, the biggest mistake people make is that they will let the pressure washer run and not pull the spray gun. This causes the same water to continue to circulate, getting hotter and hotter, melting the seals with in the pump. The gun should not remain un-pulled for longer than 60 seconds.
