Answer
The assembly details can be found on pages 2 and 3 of the attached manual. Essentially, all you'll have to do is attach the handle to the frame and the connect the hose, gun, and wand.

Is there any real difference between these two model numbers for Simpson pressure washers "MSH3125-S and MS31025HT-S ?" I have researched both and both are the same price at many locations. The biggest difference besides some subtle wordplay about having a commercial GC190 engine is the color. Lastly which one would I receive if I ordered from your website? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
First of all, the Honda GC engine is their consumer grade unit- their commercial grade engines all start with GX. Both of these units come with the consumer grade engine. Feature for feature they appear to be a match. It looks like the "T" version could be a special edition they made for a warehouse store. The handle angles look a little different- but that could also be the way the photos were taken. We work very hard to make sure what you see online is exactly what you get in the box delivered to your door- so if you order from us, you will get the black engine cover.

Mike,
2 questions:
Wood piers and plastic decks- is this to much pressure for treated wood and plastic decks?
The pressure washer comes with 25' of hose.
if i want to add another 25 or 50' to existing hose do
i need an adapter. If so what is the part number and price.

It would work well for either application and have included the hose information for the extension.
Does it have a safety or control release valve to protect the pump?
Randall Beem
from Missouri
June 30, 2016
Answer
The pump does have a thermal relief valve which will pop if the water inside the pump gets too hot. It is not good for this to have to pump as it meant the seals could have already been prematurely worn from heat.

Hi Mike,
I'm looking for pressure washer with 3000 psi, because that's what was recommended to me in order to use a telescopic 25'+ wand with it effectively. Thing is, I'd like to get a unit that has a 3/4" hose. I like the stats on the Simpson MegaShot 3100 PSI (Gas-Cold Water) Pressure Washer With Honda Engine, as well as the price, but it comes with a 1/4" pressure hose.
Can I buy a 50' or even a 100' 3/4" hose and use it with this machine instead? In other words, will it still connect to this machine and gun or no? Do you have a suggested unit that's better, at a similar price? One you recommend? I will be using this annually on my house, deck, fence and drive with sidewalk. Residential, but want it to last, if that helps.
Thanks,
Gordon

Answer
Yes, you could purchase a 100 FT hose to use with the unit. However, those hoses are quick connect and would require you purchasing 2 adapters to attach it. You would need adapter model D10037 and D10088. I have attached links for you to view both adapters and the 100FT hose I would recommend.
This pressure washer works fantastic. The only problem is that it shakes so much that the spray tips come out of the holders. When using on concrete the machine will just spin around. What can I do to stop the movement?
George

June 14, 2015
Answer
Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the vibration of the unit while in operation. However, you will have to make sure you are constantly spraying water. This should cause the unit to not vibrate as much and is not damaging the pump. when the unit is left in idle for to long, the water will heat up and damage the pump seals.

Does this power washer come with the oil for the pump and engine when I make my order?
Chris Janz
from Louisiana
May 04, 2015
Answer
The pump is sealed (no maintenance of oil) and will be shipped with oil in it. This will also come with a quart of oil shipped with it for the engine. There may be some residual oil in the engine from when it is tested at the factory so we recommend to check the level and add as needed (be sure not to overfill).

Can I use the MTM Hydro 3.0 Turbo Tip Nozzle on the Simpson Model MSH 3125-S Washer ?
Also, where do I find a tank for the cleanser so the siphon tube can go into and does it mount to the washer ? Thanks a lot
Pat

July 14, 2014
Answer
Yes the MTM 3.0 orifice turbo nozzle would be the correct item for you. We do not sell add on detergent tanks here. I would recommend reaching out to the folks at Simpson to see where one can be purchased. Their number is 877-362-4271

Does the Simpson 3100 have a container to put cleaning detergent in.
Jason
from Louisiana
March 09, 2014
Answer
No this unit does not have a detergent tank. It comes with a downstream injection system, which is a siphon hose running off the pump. You would put the siphon hose in a detergent of your choice and it would draw chemicals when using the black tip.

I bought a Simpson 3100 from Sam's that was the display model, when I got home there were no spray nozzles. I think the bag blew out of the pickup. Anyway, I need to get tips for the sprayer, a model MSV3100 p/n 60464. Are tips available separately?

Simpson is one of the first and largest pressure washer manufacturers in the U.S. and they make great quality pressure washers. Also, this model has a Honda engine installed on it which is one of the most reliable small engines available for pressure washers. You can definitely use this model pressure washer as an all purpose machine that would be capable of handling a variety of tasks

I have moss buildup on my concrete patio which is very thick. I need a pressure washer that will clean down to the concrete in a fairly short period of time. I've used the 2600 psi versions before but they do not cut it. Any advice?
Robert Olsen
from Washington
March 26, 2011
Answer
I would definitely recommend using a pressure washer with at least 3000 psi. A 3000psi pressure washer is normally sufficient for cleaning concrete. Given the amount of moss build up that you have and depending on how large of an area you have to clean, you might want to purchase a pressure washer with a psi rating between 3400-4000 psi to complete the project as fast as possible.
