Q: Would the GP High Pressure Soap Shooter Nozzle with rinse capability #4.5 be a good match for a Karcher Model HD 3101 lance by E. Lorenzini from New Jersey on June 20, 2011
A: This is going to depend on your engine size of the pressure washer. The 4.5 would go with 6.5HP-10HP engines. The 5.0 would be for 10.5HP and higher.
Q: Bill, I just bought a used Coleman Powermate 2750 that works really great. I would like to know how to use the chemicla pick-up system. The pick-up tube came with it and looks like it's never been used. I have a two story house with mildew on the North and West sides and need to apply chlorine mixture. Please tell me just how to use the system. Thank you very much in advance. by Tony Holcombe from Florida on April 02, 2011
A: With a siphon hose chemical injection system, you can only apply the detergent at low pressure. To pull the detergent out of a container, you have to attach the black "detergent" spray tip to your wand. You will not be able to pull detergent using any other high pressure spray tip. If you happen to have an adjustable spray wand, you have to rotate it to your low pressure setting.
If you need to reach 2nd story levels with detergent or you wish to apply detergents at high pressure, you could always purchase a high pressure soap shooter nozzle. I posted a link below to the item:

Q: Hi Bill, My home is on a gradiant, front of the house is 2 stories, the back is 3 stories. Will this product (karcher kg 31317) provide the neccessary pressure and distance to wash the windows and siding on the 3rd floor of the house? Thank you. Rick. by Rick Bronson from Washington on March 27, 2011
A: The high pressure stream will definitely reach that high using the zero degree spray tip. However, you will only be able to spray detergent at low pressure which will only reach about 10-15'. We do carry a couple accessories that can be used to increase your spraying distance and allow you to spray detergent at high pressure. Using one of these attachments will definitely take care of what you need to do.

Shoots soap very high and far....
Shoots soap very high and far, this is a great tool, just wish I could change orifices to go from O degree to maybe a 40 degree for fanning out the soap at a lower pressure application spraying soap on patio furniture
PWD RESPONDS: Your normal black quick connect tip is a 65° fan, for low pressure soap application.
Applying soap at high pressure, close up, can drive the soap into the pores or grain of porous surfaces making it hard to completely rinse the soap out, and possibly damaging the surface.
