AR Blue Clean Consumer Electric 10" Patio Cleaner

This patio cleaner covers so much more area than traditional spray nozzle methods. It reduced the time if cleaning my 3 large decks by over 50 percent.

It cleans tough spots just as well as a concentrated spray.

Tried to wash the heavily stained deck, helped- but straight pressure washer was more effective.

Needs to have a more convenient connection.

Not a bad product for the price !

This accessory has a learning curve to get good performance, but is a great value once you learn to use it.

It is lightweight, which requires some technique to keep it from lifting off the surface:

1- You CANNOT push and pull as in mopping a floor the unit will lift on the push. It works great by slowly WALKING BACKWARDS or works ok by WORKING SIDE TO SIDE.

2- It works better on floors if you tie on a little weight I have tried 2# and think 3-5# might work even better.

3- It works great on VERTICAL surfaces too (remove the added weight). I cleaned a stone wall in way less time than the wand could do.

I ordered one of these and had to wait a month, as they were on backorder. I was intending to wait until it came to do my driveway, but I forgot about it and did it using the AR 118 alone with the roller attachment that keeps it at a constant height. The roller attachment makes pressure washing like using a vacuum cleaner. Two days later this item arrived, so I tried it on my neighbor's driveway.

How does it perform? Sometimes it is in perfect alignment with the ground and works silently all I hear is the pressure washer pump. At other times spray does leak out. It does create a 10" clean path. But coupled with the AR 118, it had to be moved very slowly to avoid getting a pattern that looked like a Slinky. Maybe it will work great with a machine with higher pressure, like a 2000 psi washer. And maybe the larger disk would have worked better by creating a larger circle.

Was it dramatically faster than using the regular nozzle? Not for me. It didn't seem any faster at all. It might be 60% faster as they advertised when coupled with a more powerful washer.

For me, the main advantage is that it minimizes the danger of damaging the driveway from too much pressure, because the pressure is split into two streams. When I tried it on a fence, however, I did get a couple places where the pressure resulted in marks on the wood.

The supplied attachment wand needs to be about 6" longer to give your back more comfort. I found that I had to slightly bend to use it properly.

Should have a weight inside to weigh down the brush when using. Reminds me of a rodeo rider. I think it's better to walk backwards as you wash with the brush to maintain control. Turn down the pressure setting too.

Doesn't work because it needs a 22 millimeter adapter it should have came with it.

Waste of $.

The product mounts directly onto my AR390SS and is doing everything I hoped it would.
