Q: I have a pressure washer that is 2000psi at 3gpm. Will I be happy with the performance of this model or should I buy the smaller one?
by Quintin on February 25, 2012

A: No, with your size pressure washer you will want to purchase the 3 nozzle version of this water broom. The model number for the 3 nozzle version is 100921

Q: Hello. I'm looking for the best water broom for use with a pressure washer I recently purchased from you-- the Karcher 3000 PSI (Gas-Cold Water) Pressure Washer w/ Honda Engine, Model: HD-2.5/30-CH. Which water broom would you recommend? Thanks in advance for you help, Ryan
by Ryan Cooper from Washington on March 26, 2011

A: With a 3000psi pressure washer, you could use either the 3 nozzle GP broom model 100921 or this 4 nozzle version model 100922. Given the amount of spray nozzles, you will get more pressure out of the 3 nozzle broom per each spray tip. However, you will get a good performance out of the 4 nozzle broom too. The minimum amount of psi required for the 4 nozzle broom is 3000 psi. You should make your decision based off the actual task you are trying to accomplish. If you are trying to remove a tough stain, I would probably recommend the 3 nozzle version. If you are just trying to perform a general cleaning and remove dirt/debris, the 4 nozzle version will perform well.

How To Quickly Remove Debris From Surfaces
I wanted to give my garage floor an epoxy finish, which meant that, 18 years of dirt, grime and large oil grease spots needed to be removed first.

After many washings with TSP, bleach, degreaser, and the prep chemicals that comes with the epoxy kit, it was a real pleasure to do the many needed rinses with my new water broom.

It keeps all the water flowing forward and out the garage door, and the wheels makes it so easy to just keep pushing around, not having to hold up a wand to... more

Great Tool For Rinsing
This is a great tool to wash away the uplifted grime and dirt after using a rotating surface cleaner.

It is also exceptional on flat metal roofs.

Thank you for your friendly and professional service.

Not A Very Good Product.
The nozzle was clogged right out of the box. We found that it is due to cheap casting and metal flakes inside the unit that clog up the nozzles.

We got it working decent, but it left streaks and wasn't useful for much more than a water broom....not a cleaner. We did find it useful for brooming water away once we had washed using the standard wand, but wouldn't buy it again. I'd pay more for a better made product.

A Water Broom is supposed to flush leaves & clippings off of driveways, patios, walkways, etc.

There is a 90 day warranty on it for defects in materials or workmanship. You may want to contact General Pump directly at (888) 474-5487 if you feel the fittings are still clogged.

If you were looking for a scrubbing effect, you may want to consider a Surface Cleaner. They are very good at cleaning flat surfaces without leaving "zebra stripe" streaks.

Great Rig
I have used this machine for over 80 hours the past month and it hasn't missed a beat, I thought long and hard about getting the 4000 Psi unit but have not looked back since.

It runs the hammer head 20 inch surface cleaner flawlessly and starts by the second pull every time. My only complaint (which is minimal) is on two occasions I have put the lance in its "cradle" while running the surface cleaner and the handle and wand came unscrewed and melted on the engine so now I just... more
